KIRO x Pesaro In Moto: the value of customisation in the workshop

Written by Francesco Di Betta | October 10, 2024

The collaboration between KIRO and Pesaro In Moto represents an excellent example of how a well-made project can transform the efficiency and image of a workshop.

Let's find out together how KIRO has contributed to the creation of a functional and modern environment, responding to specific needs and creating a tailor-made solution.

How to bring customers to a motorcycle workshop thanks to customisation

Pesaro In Moto, Honda dealership and reference point for motorcyclists in the province of Pesaro, was in a moment of great transformation.

With the appointment of a new Honda "Dream Dealer" and the move to a completely renovated location, the company decided to take the opportunity to redefine the image of its workshop.

It was not just a simple physical move, but an ambitious project to create a cutting-edge work environment, which could best represent the Honda brand's values of professionalism and innovation.

For this operation, Pesaro In Moto has chosen KIRO as a partner for the design and construction of the workshop's furnishings and equipment.

The goal was not only to equip the workshop with quality tools, but to create a sapce that could also stand out from the aesthetic and functional point of view, offering customers a unique experience.

The main challenge was to develop a project that could make the most of the space of the new headquarters and that was in line with the high technical and aesthetic standards required by Honda.

KIRO, thanks to its experience in the workshop furniture sector, was able to offer a tailor-made solution, with attention to every detail, which fully met all the client's needs.

This project represented, therefore, not only a restructuring, but an opportunity for Pesaro In Moto to increase its positioning, integrating innovative technologies and solutions capable of improving operational efficiency and the overall image of the brand.

The client's vision

Jader Lazzari, owner of Pesaro In Moto, had a clear and ambitious vision for the new workshop site, namely to transform the space into a highly professional, functional and at the same time aesthetically pleasing environment, capable of immediately communicating the quality of service to customers.

The main objective was to create an "open" workshop, where customers could directly observe the work of the technicians and, at the same time, admire the organisation and cleanliness of the environment.

Lazzari wanted the set-up of the workshop to reflect the high standards of the Honda brand, maintaining a careful and linear design, capable of enhancing the quality of the equipment used.

Transparency and visibility were key concepts for him: customers had to be able to see the work processes up close, immediately understanding the professionalism of the team and the excellence of the equipment.

Besides aesthetics, functionality was another crucial aspect.

Lazzari required a layout that was extremely organised, able to keep the environment tidy and easily manageable, without bulky materials in sight and with an optimised workflow. Among the specific requests were, in fact, equipment that would save time and improve operational efficiency, such as sturdy and lowered lifts with automated safety systems and deep workbenches with resistant surfaces.

Another important element for the client was the ability to make the most of the space available. The new headquarters, despite being modern and spacious, required careful design to best organize the workshop and ensure that each instrument was strategically positioned.

The aim was to create a layout that would allow the technicians to work smoothly, without hindrance, and at the same time keep the workshop visually tidy and appealing to those who visited it.

The project

KIRO's project for Pesaro In Moto was developed based on an accurate analysis of the client's needs and an in-depth inspection of the new headquarters.

The new workshop not only had to be efficient, but it also had to represent a real strength for the brand, answering the crucial question: how to bring customers to the motorcycle workshop?

KIRO has developed a tailor-made solution, based on linear and clean furniture that enhances the available space.

The choice to build a visible workshop was central to the project, allowing customers to observe the technicians at work and to directly appreciate the quality of the work done.

This approach not only improves the perception of transparency and trust, but also becomes a powerful marketing tool: seeing mechanics at work, immersed in an orderly and professional environment, is a direct way to bring new customers to the workshop and retain existing ones.

Among the main elements of the project are the lowered lift bridges, which optimise space and increase operational efficiency.

In addition, a central module for dispensing new oil has been designed, flanked by a dedicated system for draining the exhausted oil.

The inclusion of an area dedicated to oil management has made it possible to store the drums in another room, keeping the environment even cleaner and tidier.

Another key aspect of the project was the optimisation of vertical space.

KIRO has installed large cabinets to make the most of the vertical space available and exposed panels for the display of tools.

The idea of showing the tools used not only enriches the aesthetics of the workshop, but adds an element of transparency that customers perceive as a sign of professionalism.

KIRO has also worked on the creation of deep and resistant workbenches, able to withstand repeated activities and to guarantee a long duration over time, even in the presence of intensive work. This choice not only helped to improve operational efficiency, but also enhanced the image of the workshop, offering a visually orderly environment consistent with Honda's aesthetic standards.

Client feedback

The presentation of the project aroused great enthusiasm from Jader Lazzari and the Pesaro In Moto team.

The rendering of the set-up proposed by KIRO fully reflected the client's vision, combining aesthetics and functionality. Lazzari appreciated the care with which the KIRO design team worked, paying attention to the details and specifications requested.

During the installation phase, even if the client chose to proceed independently, KIRO provided technical support and training on the use of the equipment, ensuring that everything worked perfectly.

“KIRO's project exceeded my expectations.

Not only does the set-up respond exactly to our operational needs, but it conveys the image of high professionalism that we wanted to give to our customers.

Seeing the workshop so well organised and modern has a positive impact on those who enter for the first time, and this is a great competitive advantage. "

At the end of the installation and inauguration of the new premises, the client was very satisfied with the final result, highlighting how the entire process was managed with great professionalism and attention.

The new work environment not only reflects Honda brand standards, but offers a better experience for both customers and technicians.
