In the heart of Turin, a place that is a symbol of innovation and motorcycle craftsmanship has undergone a major transformation.
The GP Design workshop, already renowned for its high-quality custom motorcycles, has decided to undertake an ambitious renovation project.
The partner chosen for this challenge was KIRO and this is the story of the project carried out.
Read on to find out all the details of the collaboration and the results obtained.
GP Design revolutionises the motorcycle repair shop together with KIRO
The first meeting between KIRO and GP Design was during the MBE fair in Verona in 2021.
For us it was the first participation in this important exhibition, during which we met the GP Design team who, intrigued by the new brand, visited us on the stand.
Even though we presented ourselves as a young company, the meeting was decisive: GP Design, which was looking for a partner for the renovation of its workshop, found in our offer the answer to their needs.
The customer's vision
GP Design wanted an environment that reflected its corporate image: tidy, organized and totally on view to customers.
The workshop was to be not only a functional place for operators, but also an aesthetic landmark: attention-grabbing furnishing walls and underground floor lifts were just some of the demands.
The real challenge was to integrate these needs into a consistent, high-quality project.
The project
At KIRO we accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, starting a design path in synergy with GP Design where customisation was the key: every detail had to be designed to meet the specific needs of the customer.
A distinctive element of the project was the integration of the electro-hydraulic control units and the operating controls of the lifts in the furniture.
This innovative solution has made it possible to eliminate clutter in the work areas, improving the efficiency and aesthetics of the workshop.
In addition, a separate area was created for the processing of the suspensions, with a recessed bench for fixing the clamp and a special module for draining the oil, using stainless steel worktops, optimal for contact with fluids.
GP Design also expressed the need and desire not to have equipment in sight, leading to the development and installation of furniture with drawers and doors dedicated to the storage of tools and also equipped with lockable shutters.
Customer feedback
The project was presented through a detailed render, enthusiastically received by the customer.
Not only did the project meet their expectations, it exceeded them.
The installation phase, carried out by KIRO's highly qualified technicians, went smoothly, maintaining the operation of the workshop.
The professionalism of the installation team further won over the customer, who was very satisfied with the final result.
The transformation of the GP Design workshop is just one example of how KIRO can bring innovation, quality and customisation to every project.
